If I don't work out in the morning before work, I am off all day.

Forgive yourself. I certainly have days like that, where one treat can trigger a downward spiral the likes of which few have seen. I log it so I can see its ugliness, accept it, and move on.
-
Going to add you now!

After my hip surgery in July, I lost fitness pretty quickly, but it only took me about 2 weeks to get my stamina back once I was cleared to use the elliptical.

Find some Beachbody workouts on eBay (they're cheaper). I would recommend Focus T25 -- only 25 minutes, and it's easy. You need zero equipment and it does the job. Also, there's no excuse for only 25 minutes.

I generally like to have a cup of coffee when I'm doing cardio up to about 45 minutes. Any longer than that, I have some fruit so I don't get the dry heaves.
-
It does! Or at least it does on the app. Mine syncs my activities and my steps!

37, high school teacher, have about 50 lbs to lose. Was derailed from my efforts in February by some torn cartilage and got surgery at the beginning of July. Back in the saddle!!
-
I need to lose about the same! I'll add everyone here! Always looking for accountability!
-
I'm in! I'll add you!

I accepted your add! I love my elliptical, too! It has the same features yours does. I can't wait to use those features, but I'm stuck on zero resistance until I get a little bit stronger. :(

I get a mental block when I get close to my goal. Then I gain it back. Then I re-lose it. Then this time I found out I had a cartilage tear in my hip and I had to get surgery to repair it. While waiting for surgery, I gained 30 lbs. I'm finally cleared for activity, so I need some motivation, too. Let's do it together!!…

I'm a bit older but I can be here with motivation. I'm restarting after being injured and getting surgery. I'm 191.4 as of today, but my goal weight is somewhere in the 140s. I'm 5'4" and I just turned 37. I'll add you!!

Hi! I'm restarting the journey after being injured/getting surgery. I'm 191.4 today and hope to be in the 150s by March. My ultimate goal is 140, but I'm not sure my body will maintain that. I'm going to add you and we can keep each other accountable!
-
10% smaller than I think! This gave me the boost I needed for the day. Thanks!

I've finished T25 and I'm now on my last phase of Chalean. Two TOTALLY different programs, but both have their merits. In Chalean, I feel very strong -- I never thought I'd have to go out and buy a set of 30 lb weights! Be warned -- you WILL gain weight, especially during the Push phase. I gained/maintained, but got…

I work out in the morning. I have a habit of finding an excuse to not work out after work, but there are no excuses at 4 am. I have gotten used to waking up that early, and I honestly feel crummy if I skip a morning workout. It puts me in the right state of mind to conquer the day.

This. I use Enell's high impact bra and the girls are locked down tighter than Ft. Knox! No movement, and it's comfortable!
-
6 days -- 3 cardio (2 running, 1 HIIT), 3 weights.
-
I'm 5'4", current weight is 177, goal weight is 140... but I might stop before that depending on how I look and feel. Feel free to add!

There's also a natural herbal tea called "Smooth Move" (no lie). This works, also. When I had my tonsils out 4 years ago, I had SUCH a problem after taking the pain meds, and this was the only thing that worked for me.
-
LOL He sure will! :flowerforyou:

Maybe "sabotage" wasn't the best word. I guess I was worried that I will get to a point where I'm "not quite there yet" and he will tell me to stop losing weight because I wasn't attractive to him anymore. It's ridiculous thinking -- he loved me at 201 lbs, he'll love me at a lower weight, too. I will just smile and nod…
-
Thank you so much for the support, everyone! I actually think he's jealous that I lift heavier weights than he can. He's 5'10" and 110 lbs soaking wet... and can eat whatever he wants. LOL
-
Yes, we had that discussion, too... that if I am 150 lbs and I feel comfortable with myself and I am fit, I will go into maintenance. I'm certainly not going to let an arbitrary number that is based on BMI dictate my weight loss, especially not if I have a good amount of muscle.

I run, so I feel like I need to keep super hydrated. I drink about a gallon of water a day, and I pee between each class (I'm a high school teacher), so about every 45 minutes or so.
-
I never know what my day is going to look like during the week, so I wake up around 4 am and work out. There are no excuses at that time of the morning, and I don't have to worry if another appointment gets in the way. It seems to help me, but might not be for everyone!
-
Feel free to add me!! I'm always looking for new friends.
-
This. Definitely this. And I'm going to add #4: Run your own race -- don't pay attention to what the others are doing. Couch to 5K is awesome.

Haven't been posting, but I am on my last week of Beta and will be moving on to Gamma... Today I did Rip't Circuit, which I love (with the exception of the 5-count abs at the end). I've lost 7 1/2 lbs with Beta and I can't wait to measure on Monday to see how many inches!
