Also, 'chub rub', that's not how I use that particular combination of words.

1. Is this a troll thread? Yes/No 2. If no, why isn't this a troll thread? 3. Why is OP talking talking to herself? 4. OP, good luck on achieving your goals.

I always think of the premature creases that will form around the mouth from aggressively puckering the lips for 20-40 minutes a day.

Okay, there it is. My old brain didn't see it with their style of formatting. Thanks.

What is this? It's just one line stating that 80%of teenage girls have gone on a diet. A statistics that has probably been true for the past 40 years. Is this one of those new things where you sign up, they add you to a number of people that "care" about an issue that way you can feel better about an issue without actually…

OP, all of the above.

All five of your posts are you trying to sell something. Certified fitness coach... Did you get that title by agreeing to sell a product?
-
Don't listen to this chick, she's just trying to take your money.

And another 'This' for added emphasis.

Both of these. If you start lifting heavier and make sure you're eating .8-1g of protein per lb of lean body mass, you should retain more muscle.
-
That toned look you're looking should come as you continue to drop the weight. I would suggest moving up in your lifting weight though. For me, at the start of my lifting (18 months ago) I was adding 5-10 lbs to my lifts each week. This decreased after a few months but only going up 10 lbs over the course of a year seems…

I just looked up Bulgarian Split Squats. I'm definitely going to do those because I really want to be able to do pistol squats and I think the Bulgarians would be a good work-up to those.
-
No, I split them up between my three days of lifting each week. I should have specified. I'll look into those. I'm more concerned with strength gains than mass (not opposed to them either) though I am doing a 6 week slow bulk at the moment. Thanks.
-
I'll put crayon to paper for you. I'll even make it personal. Just promise you won't try to sell it.
-
Pst... OP, I'm not really Doctor Evil... Sorry if I have irritated you or anyone else. At least he's not my kid. /shrug

I've only been tracking here for a couple of weeks but it's an accurate representation of my eating habits.

This is an old thread (2 years) but what the heck. I lost 25 lbs over the course of a year without eating "clean" foods. I ate a healthy diet of fruits, vegetables, meats and dairy. I ate at a modest deficit and combined it with progressive load weight lifting a bit of running/walking/hiking. Anyone can lose the weight…

The only thing that matters for weight loss is CICO. People on this site say it all the time because it's true. However, those same people will also tell you that meeting your macros and micros are important for health. No one claims that eating nothing but Twinkies or ice cream while eating at a calorie deficit is a…

"What if it’s not overeating that causes us to get fat, but the process of getting fatter that causes us to overeat?" What a load of crap. This is putting the cart before the horse and the mental gymnastics the authors go through to reach this conclusion is hilarious. 'We eat more one day and the body stores free floating…

9 weeks and no weight loss? You're not eating at a deficit. Make sure your intake is accurate (weighing everything that goes into your mouth) for a month and if you're still not losing, reassess.

Dang "food pushers" and their evil kindness.

I'm only suggesting something that happens to words and languages all the time. The world is not static. Semantic change (also semantic shift, semantic progression or semantic drift) is the evolution of word usage — usually to the point that the modern meaning is radically different from the original usage. In diachronic…

Disappointed by actual content of this thread.

Words have definitions, yes. Words describe ideas but sometimes ideas would be better conveyed using different words. This is one of those instances.

This. And if following these rules doesn't help you, do what other posters have advised and seek out trained professional help. Good luck. :flowerforyou:

Bees make honey and it's considered natural. How come what humans make isn't also considered natural? Why do so many people consider humans and their actions unnatural? Semantics, I know...

It's not myopic of my micros have been satisfied for the day and I stay within my caloric goals while still eating what you deemed non 'real food'. I look at the big picture. That would be the opposite of myopic. I like to eat a healthy diet, not get bogged down by the erroneous and harmful thinking that individual foods…

:blushing: I know I'm not going to get an answer since one doesn't exist. /sigh Time for me to step away from the keyboard. Thanks for the snarky reminder that my truthseeking was a doomed quest from the start, I needed it. :flowerforyou:

I don't' usually get annoyed but this one is getting close. Why can't anyone on that side of the discussion tell me how many grams of fructose is too much? If you don't have the answer, just say so. I'll even accept the hypothesis for the time being, that too much fructose is harmful to the human body. Now, at what level…
