I've belonged to a hardcore gym where lifting is the main course and Planet Fitness which has a completely different vibe. I've never felt uncomfortable at either place being a weights/cardio overweight woman. I guess it's all in how you view it.

I am almost 10 years post op lap band and view it as a tool also. I still have a weight issue but it's not as much as it was 10 years ago. My BMI has gone from 63.3 to 47.4. I still need to lose another 100 pounds but I can do it. My bariatric doctor prescribed me a medicine called Contrave which has helped with the…

I lost 85lbs in 2006-07 and have been cold ever since. I am trying to lose another 85 lbs or so but I may freeze to death before I do. I live in the south (USA) and would hate to think what I would feel like if I lived in a colder climate. Layers....best of luck!

Congratulations!!!!!!! Go ride a roller coaster. I missed them during my heaviest years.

I had lap band surgery 07-15-2006 and lost 85 lbs in the first year and a half after surgery with moderate exercise and changing my eating habits. I was 335 lbs the day of surgery and now hover at 250 lbs. I am 5'2" and still overweight. I am struggling with the last 100+ pounds. This being said I am in much better health…

I couldn't really tell (or anybody else for that matter) until I had lost about 45-50 pounds. I started well over 300 lbs and am only 5'1".

My situation EXACTLY!!!

My husband and son do not have a weight issue and we have tons of junk food in the house. They eat snacks accordingly and don't have issues. I BUY the groceries myself and you just have to tell yourself that some food is simply off limits because it's simply junk. I have my own junk food....frozen greek yogurt, grapes,…

Thigh gap finally achieved at 120 lbs!!!! Seriously, this comparison does shed light on the difference weight makes on our bodies.

As long as the majority your sugar is from fresh fruit I wouldn't worry about it.

I'm 5'2" and would like to be around 145 but realistically if I am around 185 I would be happy with my size. (Would be about a 12-14 petite.)

I love Leslie too!!!!

Check out Leslie Sansone videos. It's all based on walking (in place) and then incorporating knee lifts, kick backs, etc., and then arm motions too. You can make it as easy or challenging as you want.

Awesome!!!!!! I can so see a difference. You can't see it because we are sometimes our own worst critic. Best of luck!!!!

Congratulations!

A sincere congratulations. I honestly believe that we can't walk this walk alone and if my God (or someone else's God) offends someone don't take that path. We are here for support for each other and if you don't have anything supportive to say, troll on.

Air popped popcorn is my go to for crunchy!

Keep going!!!! You are doing great and doing it the right way for the right reasons.
-
Huge difference!!!! Way to go!
-
You can pass it back and forth....cream for both and if that doesn't work back to the doctor for both of you.
-
Are you planning on eating a couple slices or a half pound? Turkey bacon just doesn't seal the deal for me. I would rather have a slice or two of the good stuff....all in moderation!!!
-
TRUE! We have two! The next person has a bulldog.

I know a guy that has "LINDA" on his arm for wife #1. He has been married three times...all three have been Linda with the middle wife spelling her name Lynda. He's single now......I bet he's looking for a Linda!

Congratulations on a job well done!!!!!!

I buy both... My husband wouldn't ever throw out the healthy stuff. It sounds like there might be a more serious issue than just the grocery list. I cook the same for me as our family but add in healthy alternatives that the guys don't touch (sautéed green beans is my fave.) Tonight we had smoked pork tenderloin, mashed…
