    one more thing to add. to all of you who are struggling or wrestling with God right now, check out comforts from the cross (short devotions) by Elyse Fitzpatrick.
    we've got to go to the cross multiple times a day. if we could follow steps or get out of a pit..we wouldn't need Jesus. anyway it's amazing reads. I am not selling anything just thought if anyone has been in my situation (doubting so much) then this would help :) also add me if you're a christian. need more on my board ;)

    Ernest - Thank you for sharing your story. Very inspirational. While as a few have said, you did the hard work through proper diet and exercise but the strength and willpower to do that comes from God. Your faith is inspiring!!!!

    I do wish you would give credit where it's due though...to yourself. If you wanna believe that some invisible man in the sky did it fine....maybe .....maybe not. It's unknowable.

    Once again...GOOD JOB!

    I'm kind of glad I am not the only one who feels this way..Again this is not a bash on your beliefs or anyone's or lack there of
    ( I'm Agnostic for example) - I just feel it's extrmely important to acknowledge no one can do this but ourselves. We may get strength from various sources but ultimately we have to want it for ourselves :)
