It all starts with diet and being in a calorie deficit.

Why is this person dreaming? When I first came here, I lost 65 in 6 months and wasn't miserable at all. Matter of fact, every single thing you said the person would suffer from, I didn't suffer from. Is it aggressive, yes it is Doesn't mean it's not something this person can't achieve.

If it's working for you, keep doing it. If you like apples, eat apples. As long as you are in a deficit, it doesn't matter.
-
Best tip that I have ever got was buy a food scale and weigh all your food.

Feel free to add me if you would like. It's always easier with support.

Just curious as to why you don't recommend diet soda? It doesn't hinder weight loss.

If you can walk without hurting, walk. Anything you can do is better than nothing.
-
You can lose eating the things that you normally eat. Get a food scale and start weighing your food.

I quit cold turkey for a month. I then slowly reintroduced diet soda back. I was drinking 3 to 4 daily. Now I drink 1 diet soda for dinner. If you can get past the first week, then you will be fine.

You won't retain much water if you increase your water intake.

click on the groups tab up top and you should be able to find a group that you are looking for.

Feel free to add me if you want. It's always easier with people than alone.

Try and eat the calories they give you. It is giving you a deficit in the calories that it tells you to eat. For instance, if you chose to lose one pound a week. It will give a deficit of 500 calories per day. 1 pound equals 3500 calories. 500 times 7 is 3500 so it will be around a 1 lb loss each week.

Even at those ranges, it is too low for my body type. I am a male, but my shoulders are wide and I have a fairly muscular build. I am 5ft 8 and anything under 190, I look like I need to eat a sandwich. I actually look sickly. These are good for a guide, but far from universal for people.

Exactly what happened to me.

They need to have great customer service considering their products don't last long. I've went through 3 charge hr in about 20 months. I thought it may be just bad luck, but in talking to people; it's just fitbit.
-
I don't know if I would change it daily as water weight will make your weight fluctuate. That is just my opinion though.
-
I tried the fitbit charge hr for about year. I had the exact same thing happen. I have read that people started deducting 10% from the daily calorie burn. IMO depending on what I was doing, it would either be close to accurate to giving me more than I actually burned. I still wear my charge but I turned off it syncing to…

I'm going to try resetting it because later in the day while checking emails at work, my heart read 190. So it has to be something with that.

I know the feeling. I am right now at 4300 calories for the day, more than 1600 than my goal. On MFP it shows only 279 over. If you use mobile it shows the right calorie burn, but MFP goal gets adjusted to 4100. It is definitely aggravating.

Do you have to have one to lose weight? Absolutely not. For me, it was worth it. The sleep tracker really helps me seeing how much rest I get. I also have a job where I am on the move a lot and the hr gives me a good estimate on what I burn daily without having to use my chest strap hrm. I love having as much info as I can…

I am still playing Destiny. Just picked up Dragon Age Inquisition as well. Final Fantasy Type 0 when it comes out a little over a week from now.

215.0, down from 215.6
-
215.6 loss of 2 lbs.

I am curious about. I hated last year's version, so I am taking a wait and see approach this year.
-
I don't do cheat days, but when I know I am going to eat a lot, I do this. It allows me to go over what my normal daily goal would be and not feel bad because I have the extra calories.

Every once in a while I like to change it up.
