I'm on meds and my doctor told me to avoid grapfruit because there is an enzyme in the fruit that blocks absorption of certain meds into the body. Just saying... :)

great idea to frontload your days exercise. Another alternative is to balance your consumption throughout the week to allow for some slippage on Sunday. (try and stay 100 calories below your daily target so you have 700 calories to drink/eat on Sunday) or get an stationary bike and bike during the pregame/halftime chatter.

That's a tough crowd. Stick by your guns and indulge a little once in a while. Reconcile your caloric intake with additional exercise. That's what I did yesterday when someone brought timbits to a meeting. Ran 5km in 32 mins.

When I have the time, I cross check the data on the packaging to the data in the database. I also check the manufacturer online data with the database (this is more whith restaurant menu items). I'm always looking to finetune the potassium data.

It's ok to fall off the horse once in a while. Dust yourself off and get back on. Progress is made not by having a perfect record but by have a record that shows improvement. Forgive yourself, prevent situations that facilitate failure, do better next time. Good luck. :)

We have a Soda Club carbonator at home and rarely use the flavours. I add lemon juice to my soda water, I water down my orange juice with soda water. I only use the flavours when I mix it with booze. Bottom line, get soda water. Keep the fizz in your mouth but the calories/chemicals out of your body.
