my friends don't even know I use this app. Unless you make it super obvious, don't see why anyone would need to know

this is surprising
-
at over 300 lb no it's not too high.
-
What is your height and weight? What almost destroyed you?

just saw where you did a 6 mile run then started to have the pain in your ankle. Had you trained up to 6 miles or just did it without working up to it? If so the ankle pain is probably not from the shoes, but from increasing your distance and your body wasn't ready.

There are times as a runner that you will have injuries and/ or pain regardless of shoes. I've had foot pain, ankle pain, shin splits etc. Sometimes it's the shoe, sometimes not. If you are getting shin splints and have been running a while and just switched shoes, it's probably the shoes. You can either work through them…

How long have you been running?

um eating all rice sounds way more like a fad than south beach where you can eat several types of food

10 lb isn't that noticeable on me even (I'm an average size female) so on an overweight person it will be even less. And for a male 1200 isn't enough, you will lose lots of muscle and won't be happy with your results
-
in your other posts you say you want to gain And someone pointed put you were only 86 lb. so are you maintaining or gaining?
-
At 86 lb you probably just need to focus on eating as much as possible

I admit I an judgemental when it comes to kids and soda. I dont agree with it, but I'm sure there are plenty of things I do that others would disagree with. I'm a nurse and don't know any doctors that would encourage it. I would be interested in any studies saying soda is fine for kids. I've seen some lately saying the…

its so so bad for them. And a horrible habit to start so young. So his doctor says it's healthy??

It doesn't have to be hard or time consuming. Use your fast food money for groceries. You can throw together a wrap or a salad for less $$. Tuna fish is easy and quick. Make some chicken breasts for salads or sandwiches. Eggs or oatmeal for breakfast. Protein bars, cheese, fruit for snacks. Buy a big tub of protein powder,…

a few times a week is too much for a kid. Of course they enjoy them.
-
Are they in sports or exercise at all? Teens should be in something to keep them active whether it be track, football, karate, anything. They pick but have to pick something. Ask for a referral to a dietician from their pediatrician.
-
nope sorry
-
Exercise is to improve your fitness, which I assume you want to keep improving? You should be setting new fitness goals. Your diet can be adjusted for maintenance.
-
if you are eating at a deficit you won't gain muscle.
-
You are maybe burning 1000-1200, but normally you would be doing at least sone walking in your normal daily living. This is just adding on.
-
Oh my I don't believe anyone over the age of 10 who states that just can't eat over 1200 cals in a day.
-
-
When is the run?
-
i don't think pain medications dehydrate you. Were you not drinking much??
-
you should weigh in the morning with an empty stomach.
-
yes you are overreacting. 400 cals is not a binge
-
if anything, lightly active
-
how do you know you have put on muscle?
-
You don't mention what symptoms you have besides the high heart rate? It's pretty common and medications and/or an ablation can help. I'm a RN too and I think you would be less nervous if you were actually under the care of a cardiologist who could to the proper testing and get you on the right meds.
