You sound like you do a lot of working out ! Definetly don't eat less. When you get the last bit of weight it's most effective to EAT your workout calories (but also keeping a deficit) or else you'll go into starvation mode. It's best to keep losing between .5. - 1 pound a week ! Do you do any strength training ?? You…

Hi ! I am 5'4 (and a little bit) and I usually aim for around 1600 - 1800. I workout a lot so it is for weightloss not maintence. I weight basically the same as you as well ! How active are you ? It sounds like your calorie intake is pretty good :) Sarah

I love chalene extreme too ! I did that workout program first actually then found turbofire. I've done the hybrid more then once :) what hybrid are you using ? The one that comes in the program ?? I have other ones that are more challenging if anyone is interested :)

You don't have to take a rest day but do not do another HIIT! Your body needs to recover. Just walk, easy run or something with a low intensity :)
-
Use the bands ! I used to hook the band around a door :) worked just as good as a pull up bar !

Welcome!!

Hi ! I like your method of eating ! It's true portion control is so important ! Since the beginning of my journey I have changed what I eat; more veggies, more salad, less processed food, less meat and diary. Then recently I have changed how I eat; smaller portions :) its good to change up your eating and always try to…

Great thank you!!

I love your mindset !! You can do it :) I'll add you

Wow that workout is intense ! How is it going so far ? I don't blame you on the morning cardio. 530 is wayy too early ! If you are worried about not seeing results (which I think you definitely will if you're eating clean ) maybe just add an extra 15 mins of cardio onto the evening one ? Are you following the diet plan as…

Welcome Steph :) I'd love to help you stay accountable if you need it ! I'll add you as a buddy :)

Hi I just asked this question actually ! I have a fitbit and I love it but it doesn't take into account your heart rate so it's not 100% accurate. It's small and easy to wear. Body media is big and you have to wear it on your arm the whole time I think ? I literally never take off my fitbit it's so easy ! The company that…

Hey! Do you do any strength training ?? Muscle burns fat and the heavier weights you lift the lower your body fat will be :) I'm also a vegetarian and I eat of dairy for protein such as cottage cheese and it works I think. As long as your not heavy fatty dairy like full fat cheese, etc. I also drink natural protein shakes…

Thanks everyone ! Ya I really like my fitbit but it's the calorie burn that gets me... Fitgirl what heart rate monitor do you use ????
-
Yes! It won't and it's a great workout. Once you get comfortable with weight lifting aim to fatigue between 10 - 12 reps. So that means you would be lifting heavier then your 15 rep sets :)
-
It all depends on your fitness goals and current stats (weight, height etc) but if your daily goal to lose weight without exercise is 2000 cals you are probably okay to just eat those 2000 cals. It isn't that much a deficit that your body will go into starvation mode. Never eat below 1200. If you did run 10 miles and…

If you are just starting out light weights are okay ! But to get toning results you need to lift heavier weights you get a better calorie burn and you WON'T bulk up :) Light weights - aim to fatigue by 15 meaning you could not do another rep ! Do this set 2 - 3 times. Also I always try to do opposing muscle groups (bicep &…

I'm not sure if you already started or not but starting turbo fire would probably help your training for your half marathon :) it is an amazing cardio conditioning so it might just give you that little extra! Let me know how it goes !!

Hi Meaghan! Happy to hear you are committing to a healthier you !! For the alcohol socializing... I always try to only drink red wine! It has great health benefits and I find I don't drink it as fast as say a vodka cranberry ! It really works :) what type of workouts are you doing for your planned schedule ?? - Sarah

Hi Megan, Definitely make your own as everyone has said! But maybe try veggie burgers? There are actually some tasty ones out there. Do you like sweet potatoes? You could always try sweet potato fries! --Sarah

Messaged both of you! :)

Turbofire is my favourite workout EVER! seriously! It is great for cardio and there is some strength training in there but its mainly cardio. So because its cardio it would definitely be a great choice for a fat burning workout. If you have any questions about it just message me :)
