But doesn't that mean once the food is digested bf will be used up? Overnight when I don't eat for example? Normally the body would turn to glycogen stores wouldn't it?
-
Everything I'm reading tells me it will use my body's fat stores, do you have a link to back up your claim it doesn't? I've had a look but can't find one.

I try to plan ahead, but sometimes I just don't know what I'm going to have

Pardon?

I'm hoping not to loose weight really, just fat, as I think my weight is at a perfect level for me. However if I'm eating at maintenance I suppose my body will just do what's right! I find carbs very addictive, which is another reason I think that they are bad for me personally. Clearly some people cope well with carbs but…

I also find carbs very addictive, another reason I feel it would help me! I'll just have to watch the vitamin levels :)
-
How could switching your body's main energy source to fat not help with fat loss?
-
Nuts, kale chips, plain popcorn

Make your own!

Oh I never knew that! Hmm, I've seen small dark orange pumpkins and larger lighter coloured ones but I thought they were just the same type but different sizes.
-
Yea I've tried vegan cheese before and I imagine its similar, horrible stuff! I'd much rather have less of something that tastes gooooooood :)
-
Wow pumpkin is big in the US! In the UK they only appear in shops in October, they get carved for Halloween and then they get chucked in the bin. Might give pumpkin pie a go this year so the inside isn't wasted, but I've never even tried it never mind made it!

Chicken or sardines

Just use less normal cheese? If you eat the recommended potion size of cheese there is no reason to eat reduced fat cheese at all, just have a sprinkle and don't go nuts with it.

Most of these are exercise apps so I'll throw in my favourite healthy eating one, The Whole Pantry, totally changed how I eat and cook! Best £1.99 I ever spent, their almond and vanilla choc chip cookies are divine.

I like juices, if I have to get up and out quickly in the morning I can't usually stomach a real breakfast so I have a juice. I get some nutrients and vitamins without feeling bloated and sick, then I'll have some cereal of something later on. However I always save my pump, because otherwise it's just a waste IMO, I can…

From a coffee shop I love a hazelnut latte, but this morning I made my own hazelnut milk and tried it in my coffee... Omg amazing. It forms a think creamy layer on the top which you drink the coffee through, divine.

Kale chips, rye crackers with hummus, popcorn

Filtered water! Once your water doesn't taste all chlorine-ey it's much more palatable, you can pick up water filter systems that go under the kitchen sink on amazon really cheap. Also drink fruit and herbal teas, I wouldn't add all these water flavourings because of all the atrificial stuff in them but I make my own…

Any overly processed meat (think hot dog sausages), most sweets (candy) and chocolate, prunes, blueberries that have been in the fridge more than a couple of days ( obsessive about mold and check each one for signs lol), black pudding, celery.
-
Yep me too! Although wholemeal isn't half as bad, if I do eat bread I eat good wholemeal, rye, spelt etc. I find the same happens with white pasta so buy wholemeal, also wholemeal is generally more nutritious :)
-
A proper tuna, shark or swordfish steak!
-
Couple of squares of 85% dark chocolate eaten slowly really does the trick, most of the time I only need one!
-
Well I've never been overweight and I'm not eating processed food so the cravings are never for cake! Once I craved olives like mad, another time fresh tomato soup, now eggs. Makes sense that with the increased strain on my muscles from insanity I need more protein and so am craving the eggs right? I've eaten 12 eggs in 3…

Very interesting

Avocado pudding! 2 banana, half an avocado, cocoa powder and maple syrup in a food processor
-
DONT use boiling water! It gives it a bitter taste, stop the kettle when it's hot but not boiling and only brew for a couple of minutes. You can add honey to sweeten
-
An excuse to drink more red wine? I'm in! Lol
-
Purely because you're tired and your body knows sugar and carbs will give you an energy boost!

Good old bum bag like its the 80s ;)
