  • today I added PB2 to my Cocoa Cocoa Wheats - didn't help the taste of the PB2 & definitely took away the awesomeness of Cocoa Wheats - I wonder if any1 has found a tolerable way to consume this stuff?

  • I'm in! This is going to be exciting
  • Well, I made it thru day 1 of the ease in & I feel somewhat headachey, but I'm fighting a headcold so that could be a factor. I have felt hungry @ times throughout the day, but I had a supply of "living food" with in snacking distance ps I weighed 161 this morning I'm 5'6"
  • I've started the Master Cleanse Diet today. I did a bunch of reading online & it's likely not the best way to lose or keep off weight. but...I have a friend & she saw good results. Although, she doesn't have the same muscle mass I have. I think that's my greatest concern - losing muscle mass. I just find it very hard to…
  • After reading all these posts I think I've been doing it all wrong :( A typical day for me: 4am - Cardio or Stretch - I drink 1/2-1 bottle of water during 7am - 4egg whites 1 yolk, 1c broc, 1/2 slice "good" bread 10am - 2tbs Smart Bal PB & 13 Fiber Select crackers 12 pm-1pm- Cardio - Jog on beach or walk w/weights 1:30 -…
  • Thx so much for the info. I'm very excited to check it all out!
  • I've found the ideal way for me to control my portions is to only eat half of whatever it is on my plate. I pull a tupperware container out & put 1/2 into it right away so it is out of site (out of mind). I also drink a glass of water prior to my meal in hopes of it helping "fill me up". Hope this helps! Good Luck
  • I have found that the best thing is to get up & get moving earlier than u normally would; even only 15 minutes. Start there, get your body use to being up earlier - that will begin to jump start your metabolism. Eventually you'll want to work out during that time. I've also found it is best to do some kind of wkout after…
  • I just watched it for the 1st time lastnite & I really liked it. It seemed more personal to me than BL. I could identify w/the people & the way they lived, how they ate, etc. I will definately tune it again. I actually watched it while I burned my after dinner calories on my eliptical - very motivating!
  • False - I can eat a lil Andes mint & be fine all day! The person below me can find At Least 2 Good Things about theirself that they can share w/others.
  • That's a very encouraging thought & I thank you for taking the time to respond. I've just logged my dinner calories & I see that I'm over, so I have to hit the eliptical & burn some off! Thanks again!
  • Thank you! I've been struggling w/that very idea. I think it's most difficult for me because I really needed new pants & they really fit/look nice.
  • I have a bit of a dilema. It probally will seems silly to many, but this is what's goin on w/me. I had always promised myself that I would never do dbl digit pants, but... on an after Christmas shopping spree w/my BFN I found that they look/fit very nice (for now) & I really needed some new pants anyway... now I'm doing…

  • On the rare occasions that I have bacon, I cook it on my forman grill all the fat drains away, cooks to perfection & I almost don't feel guilty eating it that way LOL
  • Welcome to MFP! I have the same type of trouble. I lose weight... It Finds Me! Very frustrating I know; try to stay positive even when you slip-up. I've always heard that eating slower makes you feel fuller longer. As for me, I am a gobbler! Doesn't matter how much or little time I have to eat, it seems like I gobble up my…
  • I love this post! I would like to add that I observed a similar thing w/icecream - Any Brand vs Breyers "All Natural" - melt a bowl of each on your countertop & check the results. I'm a HUGE FAN of if it's natural it's got to be good for you - in moderation of course! So I have my occasional bowl of BREYERS ice cream -…
  • Well, it seems I'm some sort of freak of nature... I don't like pizza! HOWEVER, I absolutely LOVE McDs fries! Everynow & again I will treat myself to Fry Friday; of course that's only if I've been very good about my cardio thru the entire wk. I find it very difficult to get out of bed @ 4am 2 do my early am cardio, but I…
  • Welcome to MFP it's a very good site, I'm sure you'll find the support you receive here very inspirational. I know I do!
  • I also have been suffering from some back trouble.Lastnite I saw a Chiropracter (for the 1st time in my life) & I'm Glad I Did! For Christmas I received some beginner Pilates DVDs & I've been doing them on my lunch, they are less than 30 min. I have noticed a huge difference in the stiffness in my lower back - or I should…
  • Day 2 of my NY Roller Coaster ride has started out well even tho I woke 1hr late! I was still able to get in 15 min of morning cardio (burned 150 cals). 2nite I wt train w/my BFN & am lkn 4ward 2it!
  • The fact that you recognize that you're an 'emotional eater' is a huge step. Maybe try to keep only 'good for you' foods around.
  • Hi Kelly, Welcome to MFP. Congratulations on your new baby! Keep in mind your body needs extra healthy nutrients since you're nursing - of course you know that :)' If your into munchies... try putting grapes in the freezer. The frozen grapes are better than a popsicle. And, my personal fav is celery w/Smart Balance peanut…
  • Welcome to MFP. I'm sure you'll enjoy the site, it's so user friendly & so many friendly people! My NY Motivator... I put a pair of my 'skinny jeans' on the towel rack in my bathroom w/a note above them... The note says: Do You Have What It Takes To Get Back Here?
