  • His self esteem has been damaged. You were honest with him, but the truth hurts. Now he's self conscious around you when it comes to food. You're probably pushing him to be a closet eater. Let him come to his own conclusion that he needs to make a change. You can't force it on him.

  • The fact that you have "diet food" in your vocabulary is a big issue.
  • My co-worker just told me yesterday that a friend of hers is having to go through testing for high mercury levels in her body because she was eating a can of day for protein (she's a vegetarian). So I would be careful.
  • I bought pants at the end of May and most of them are falling off of me too. "Good problem to have." as my co-workers would say. I've started wearing my pants higher on my waist. That helps. Also a belt. That's all I got. SPS....Saggy Pant Syndrome. Just something us losers have to deal with :)
  • So true.
  • No argument there. Not really the point of my post though.
  • I love both (dark slightly more) and I did look it up and see that dark is more nutritious. Even while she was telling me that it was healthier and I asked "how", I thought she was going to say because it had more nutrients. But instead she said because it moves those muscles more. It took everything I had not to laugh lol
  • Rinse them this time. Next time look for no salt added canned goods.
  • Make things ahead of time and reheat them. Today I had grilled chicken with sauteed peppers and cheese and carrots and dip. I made it over the weekend and divided it up in individual servings to reheat for lunch this week. Yesterday I had a huge salad with cheese, bacon, dressing, carrots and sunflower seeds. Tomorrow I…
  • Consider yourself blessed :) It's all processed to death and has little nutrition anyway.
  • I had a horrible time with that this month (this week actually). I tried to make choices that fit in my diary, but to do so I had to work out and earn the calories. So I would say if you can't fight the cravings, up the exercise.
  • Exercise can cause water retention. Plus you're burning 1000 calories and only eating 1200? So you're netting 200 calories a day? Not good.
  • Lettuce Sunflower Seeds Cottage Cheese Eggs Cheddar Cheese Bacon Bits Baby Carrots I eat a lot of salad lol
  • Me too. I always go to their profile to make sure they didnt post that they would be on vacation. If they didn't, they are gone. These are usually the people who are whiney too. "I haven't lost any weight. I keep eating bad food. etc" yet they never log their food or exercise. I honestly don't need that. I need committed,…
  • Chocolite candy. 30-35 calories each, 3g of fat I think, and like 6g of fiber each.
  • I was going to mention that, plus I'm sure your bladder (just like your stomach) stretches and gets used to the extra amount of fluid intake. so it's not so much that you're not peeing as much, but you're just not peeing as often.
  • Your body (or at least you) eventually gets used to it. You need to pee. It's a good thing. Be happy your body isn't holding onto those toxins and storing the excess fluid :)
  • Ok that's about what I burn (closer to 350). I haven't worked up to my BMR yet (1930), but my TDEE is only 2300 not including exercise.
  • So you're eating 2000 calories, but what are you netting? How many calories are you burning with exercise?
  • I am so going to have to try this!
  • Make a pizza with a tortilla and use goat cheese instead of mozzarella. Yum!
  • Next time you're confused, look at the net weight on the front of the box. You already said the serving size was 1/4 of the box (I'm guessing it said it had 4 servings?) so then just look at the net weight of the box. It probably said somewhere around 336g. Then you would have known that yes, it was 84g of pasta dry.
  • Do you pee a lot or just have the urge to pee a lot? If it's not a uti or any other infection, it could be overactive bladder. Or you're just drinking a lot of water.
  • Go to My Exercises and create new exercise. Then next time you search for it, it will be there.
  • I work at a child care resource and referral. We mainly deal with regulated child cares and not nannies or sitters, but you could call your local CCRR and they may be able to help. We usually refer parents calling about nannies and sitters to www.care.com, like others suggested, and the local colleges. Go to…
  • Pound out the chicken breasts. Mix cream cheese with the chopped up green onions (and other spices if you want). Spread onto chicken. Roll up chicken and secure with tooth picks. Coat the chicken in the panko crumbs and bake it until done :) Oh i missed the laughing cow. You could use that instead of the cream cheese.
  • Since it's from a bakery, maybe you could find a similar recipe online? Maybe search for something like "lemon angel food" http://www.food.com/recipe-finder/all/lemon-angel-food
  • I think it's a matter of getting used to it and not watching the clock. I used to have that problem too. Now I do 30-35 min and mainly stop because I'm bored lol But it's definitely a workout. I've just never been patient with exercise machines.
  • I don't want to keep following the plan I was following because it was a VLCD and I want to be able to do this on my own with something I can follow for life. The VLCD worked great getting me out of what I would consider morbidly obese. I want to be able to exercise and you can't on a VLCD.
