  • totally agree... love the shoes, love the hair and the big smile! Congrats!
  • you look so much younger! Great Job!
  • we usually just do some marinated chicken breast. All summer we use the outdoor grill, but during the winter it's a good substitute. We bought the Foreman sponges to clean it off...sounds silly but I really think they work better than the sponge I use for my other pans.
  • I read in a magazine that if you're not good at writing down what you eat an idea is to snap a picture with your phone, so that at the end of the day you can go through it and write it down. I don't know how I would feel taking a picture of my plate when I'm out but I thought it was a good suggestion
  • welcome back!
  • Welcome! This is the place to do it. I've lost a total of 67 pounds, the last 40 or so using this site. It's really great. I would suggest planning out what you want to eat and entering it first, at least for a while so you get an idea of how many calories things actually are. Use the community discussion boards, there are…
  • Congrats and good job. Make sure you celebrate every pound (or .2 pounds), but those milestone pounds are the best.
  • I've got 2 boys - 5 and 2 (almost)...lots of fun!
  • I've been away for awhile and I was just wondering how you were doing, Tam. Are you keeping up the healthy life? I always found it so hard to stay healthy when I was pregnant! Best of luck, thanks for keeping everyone on track!
  • There are free "podrunner" podcasts available too...I think it is called Podrunner first day to 5K. It's a 9 week program. It has some good music mixes and chimes when you should switch between walking and running. It's nice to not have to think about timing you intervals.
  • I started at 20/22 and am nearing a 14 now (I'm a baggy 16/ tight 14). One of the best things about reaching these sizes is being able to shop in the misses dept and not womens (plus size)! It's nice not to see a "W" after the size! GOOD JOB!
  • Is greek yogurt just strained or is it a different process that keeps the nutrients and bacteria?

  • I tried making a TVP meatloaf once...it did not work so hot.
  • So I saw the greek yogurt thread the other day and decided to try it out. I'm not a big fan of honey, so I just got the plain and put in some sliced strawberries. It was OK. I guess I am so used to that sugary regular yogurt. I really liked how creamy it was though. If I get regular plain yogurt and strain it does it turn…

  • It's a good state of mind to know that you can stray every now and then and get right back on track (step it up a little to make up for it) and not totally fall of the wagon! Happy Birthday and Congrats on learning that one day (or weekend) won't destroy everything and isn't a reason to quit.
  • :drinker: That's ONEderful!!
  • I make an appointment at my gym at 4:30 2 days a week then 9am Saturday mornings. It's a little rough, but once you get into a routine it works out alright. I make sure I get a lot more done during the day at work because I try not to take much home with me. I have 2 kids too ( 18 months and 4 years).
  • I steam them up a little then add some butter (or spray), balsmic vinegar and a little brown sugar. It's very yummy.
  • wow, you look great
  • My 4 year old poked the back of my arms and said, "I like your arms, they're jiggly!" Don't you just love kids!
  • One of my favorites is baby spinach salad with diced apples and cashews (or almonds) with a raspberry vinegrette. Mmmmmm
  • Hm, I was not a fan...but you should try it...I will probably give it another go sometime. I don't like to count anything out until I've done it 3 times. I figure if I don't like it 3 times it probably just isn't for me. I guess it kind of depends on the instructor and the group. Most of the people I have talked to love it.
  • Congrats!!:drinker:
  • just as I suspected...thanks for your input.

  • I can't wait for that day! Good Job.
  • I was thinking this same thing last night - I saw a commercial for it. I haven't used it nor do I know anyone who has, but we can't be the only ones out there with this same question. Anyone have any opinions???

  • we are the sum of our small steps... (someone has that in her signature and I LOVE it!) Way to go!
  • My baby is 15 months and now I am 20 pounds lighter than I was before I was pregnant! This is an awesome site.
  • My husband and I joined the gym together in October, although I had been trying to get in shape for nearly a year. Now that he is on board it is SO much easier - I don't feel bad taking time to go to the gym since he goes with me and the kids go to the play room (and LOVE it). Cooking is easier too...he doesn't want to go…
  • The increased health is such an reward...I love being able to do some things I couldn't before. Even running up the steps at my house.
