Thanks for letting us know about the tall ladies groups, I have just joined both. I am 5'10" and have about another 5 - 10lb's to lose. Would be great to make some new tall friends :-)

Hi, I'm from London and on here most days :-) Sam

Welcome back!

It all depends on my mood, I have recently joined a running club and now really enjoy running along chatting however, if i am going for a quick fast paced run alone I would prefer to have some upbeat music, it gives me a distraction from being out of breath!

Well done, you should be very proud of yourself. I hope you enjoyed each and every NSV

Hi! I am, I live in Kent and am also feeling the love for MFP. Lots of support and encouragement to help you through. Please feel free to add me, I'd love some more UK based MFP friends! Sam

I have been going to a zumba class once per week for almost a year now, I LOVE it. I tend to agree that it isn't the best workout, but you're jumping around for an hour and I sweat buckets. I would say it is the best fun exercise class I have ever taken and would recommend everyone to try it, although taking one class…

Hiya, I am a working mum (4 days per week) I have a weekly workout schedule which I will happily share with you all  Monday and Wednesday I run during my lunch hour for around 30 - 40 mins. Tuesday evening (after the bedtime routine) I go to a zumba class for an hour. Friday is my day off of work so I try to fit in…

 I'll definitely be trying that! Thank you

Hi all, I am 5ft 9.5 and currently weigh 155lbs, my goal is to get down to 147lbs and see how I feel and look. At the moment 147 seems a world away as I am struggling to lose anything at all despite some hard core exercising! I am not looking to be stick thin, but would love to finally be rid of my muffin top and baby…

day at home with my family  , I hate work at the moment:sad: .

1. My friend is losing weight and getting fitter at the same time as me (not on MFP, I hope!), I am having a secret competition with her, I will NEVER allow her to be thinner or fitter than me, she runs 5 miles, I make sure I run 7! Very childish, I know! 2. I am going to be blonde for the summer and if truth be told, I…

I have to confess I quiet enjoy clothes shopping when I can afford it! I love a Saturday mooching around lovely clothes shops, buying lots of lovely things! Personally I find the worst part of trying to lose weight the realisation of how easy it is to put weight on and how hard it is to take the weight off! It's so very…

Hi! I am a 34 year old mum of a scrumptious little 22 month old boy  , I have a lovely supportive partner  who allows me the odd evening out to exercise to help reach my ultimate goal of becoming a yummy mummy! I work part time, 4 days per week in a pretty stressful environment, although if the truth be told…

I'm am with you and have found it increasingly difficult to lose weight with age and after having a child. However, I agree with the other ladies, the only way to be sure that you're eating enough or too much is to spend time logging EVERYTHING you eat and ALL of your exercise. That is the only way to get a true picture.…

What have you been eating?!? That is a huge poo!

The man was obviously a complete jerk. People like him are generally trying to make themselves feel better by putting someone else down, don't listen to him. Anyway, you can bet your bottom dollar he has a small *****! Onwards and upwards, don't let him ruin your day.      …

Hello fellow tall ladies! Isn't it lovely to see so many of us tall girls on here! I am 5'9" and hearing so many familiar stories! Like many of you I am (or like to think I am) quite athletic and enjoy running, zumba and being generally fit and healthy. My weight fluctuates, so I will just report on recent weight loss! My…

Me too! I love running and am working on improving my time and distance

Hi Harry, I have just returned from Weight Watchers too, I found it very hard to follow and easy to fall off of the wagon. Have they changed your system to Pro Points too? Welcome back to MFP! Sam

I agree - I am a really moody cow when I first start out on a diet. But, it is also true that it doesn't last for long! I am now just as moody when my zumba class is cancelled or it is raining too hard to run on the road! I can recommend a shapers hot chocolate, it is well under 100 calories and a good chocolate fix…

Good luck! A girl like me, I am naturally lazy and LOVE food, not a good combination if you are trying to diet! Feel free to add me if you want some extra support :-)
