At 120 lbs, unless you are 3'5", I think it might be ok to chill out, have a cheeseburger for crying out loud, and look at what other areas of your life might feel more meaningful for you to make change in at this point. We all deserve to be happy. Only you have the power to do that for you.:flowerforyou:

Also review your water intake, especially in cooler weather. A pint or two short on water each day can affect your energy in a pretty significant way.

I'm not clear on whether your concerns are just about training, or training and nutrition, or weight loss, or what your goals are. But it's possible to get all wrapped up in a goal, work out in our head what that should look like, and charge full speed ahead. (Guilty!) Our body does not mind at all telling us to bugger off…

There is no time on your schedule. So you won't be able to exercise until your fitness makes your priority list. Is it worth more than dishes? Ok, so the dishes pile up. You could do them every other day. It gets surprisingly easy to live with. Shorter shower, shave every other day? It's winter. If your hubby minds he…

Military. ...and it was hot! We were both Drill Sergeants...I fired 39/40, thought I was a badass. He hit 40/40...the rest is happy history (but I tell our kids that I schooled HIM!!) lol

Firing range, 12 years ago.

Ya, I need to listen for the tips it's all a little foreign...can I just mute the bull****? :noway:

lol thanks. I'm doing the modified version before my ironman training plan starts.

I like it rare enough that a good vet could still save it.

You're a ROCK STAR!!!!!:drinker:

If you think he's not just being a big baby, perhaps a visit together with your doctor or a nutritionist might be help him be more understanding and feel more comfortable. If you think he's just being a big baby, just smile and nod. It's your body.

Sushi tonight...BRING IT!!!!:drinker:

You are the star. No pressure.

I read an article that says our metabolism goes up during that time. I thought that explained a lot! Great excuse to allow a few more calories and be ok with it, or if we fight it we know we burn more calories that week by NOT eating more. One of the few things during our TOM that is win-win, lol! :drinker:

The counter of how many days we've been logging in is the same retard that thinks we'll be at our goal weight in five weeks whenever we have a perfect day. Just smile and nod.

rotflmao. TRUTH!

Best of luck!! I just crossed the finish line of the California International Marathon on Sunday, and it was pretty dang awesome. I'm taking a month off and starting Ironman training for a June race. Happy to follow along with you!

We're in the same boat. Proof that the universe has a twisted sense of humor! Hang in there. Your post made me realize that I've been on here exactly five months, writing down everything I eat and thinking "thin" thoughts. I'm only halfway to where I planned to be...but I like me better now than then. This is a crappy time…

I moved to CA from Post Falls, ID a year ago. I did IMCDA in 2010, but finished after the 12:00 cutoff. Back for a rematch this summer. I miss CDA...for the 7 weeks of summer, not really the rest of the year, lol.

Ha ha, add me!! We can do this!...Hey, is complaining an excercise?

One day I woke up and just knew I was ready to be done with this body. I knew it like never before. It would be great if I had new willpower too, but it's still the same old me inside. These are the things that help me: Plan my foods every day. If I've planned my meals I snack on smaller bites of all the tempting stuff.…

What she said. It shakes loose eventually.

If your normal routine is sedentry and you just spent two hours walking I would add it.

If it goes up, it's broke. If it goes down, keep it. Weigh the cat just to make sure it still knows other numbers before deciding.:drinker:

Wow. I was addicted to pepsi for years. Even when I quit having one every single day, there were foods I just "had" to have one with. I eventually replaced it with club soda and found that worked really well.
