Make sure the raw veggies you're eating are low carb (the greener the better). In terms of fruit, just stick to a handful of berries per day (berries pack a punch of micronutrients, but not many carbs), and subtract some of that quinoa with low carb alternatives such as my favorite two below: Here are my favorite low carb…

Keto isn't atkins, and it's very easy to do without eating meat. Avocadoes, nuts (pecans and macadamia nuts are great for keto). Coffee/tea with heavy whipping cream, cheese sticks, eggs...lots of options. Your biggest hurdle is going to be snacking and being around carbs all day. As a user above put it, all it takes is a…

I use animals cuts 3 months a year when I cut. I generally cut 10-15 lbs each spring. The apatite suppressant works very well for me. Keeps me from snacking. Keeps me from caving in and ordering a pizza instead of relying on the food I prepped.

I bike an hour to/from work each day.

Fat/Sugar free Jello cheesecake with graham cracker crust and cherry topping. ...and Whiskey. You body can't turn alcohol calories into fat.

Used to have the same problem. For me the solution was peanut butter, or almond/cashew/hazelnut butter if you're allergic to peanuts. Eating 1 spoonful of peanut butter per meal can give you an additional +500 calories a day and you don't have to change your lifestyle or schedule. Another option is olive oil. Liberally…

It's possible to be in great shape and not do anything the USDA recommends.

Okay, thanks for replying. My first bulk was dirty, and I had a helluva time cutting, but I was able to do it. I want to cut a few more pounds before I start to bulk again(clean this time). Gotta take care of some stubborn fat areas first, so I'm going to try my hardest these next few weeks to get under 10%.

Homeschool + private sport teams/lessons/groups = win It's very easy to have a great social life and be homeschooled at the same time. Plus having more control over what your kid is taught is great.

You mentioned that you do a bulk then cut cycle. I like this method as well, and have done it in the past with good results. I am not an expert though, and I have some basic questions. When bulking how many extra pounds do you put on before deciding to cut? How long does it take you? After gaining said weight, how much of…

You don't have to do anything fancy. Just tread water for as long as you can. Take a rest, then repeat. Need a deep pool though. And don't drown.
-
Yes. It is very possible to burn that much even if you're not treading or swimming, just splashing around will do it. Swimming drains you, and I was told never to go swimming the day before a soccer game for this reason.

Right, I've been in plenty of cities and have never witnessed something like that.
-
In any city there are always horns going off. Doesn't mean it's for a girl.

works for me

I have never seen this happen in my entire life. I think it's just something that happens in the movies.
-
Just say no thanks. If they get offended too bad. I do this all the time, but I don't see it as a problem, and it's never become a problem.
-
I do three things differently. (1) not exercise, (2) take 3000mg of vitamin C, and (3) sleep at least 10 hours per day. Diet remains constant.
-
I did it with purpose. 5x5 strength training program and 3,500 calories per day.
-
Same. I want my 3 minutes back.
-
Not on a calorie deficit. Article doesn't mention that.

It's 99% water...what do you say to this?
-
I like it

Find a good workout video. Insanity, P90, P90X are good.
-
Just go with caffeine free diet Coke. It has no caffeine, so it's not a diuretic. You can count it as 99% water because that's what it is. I've been drinking it as water for over 5 years. No problem, never had a cavity.

If you don't like them don't eat them. You don't need them. The northern Inuits go without veggies in their diet and are healthy.

I like soups, but to be honest my favorite part of making soup is actually making the broth. Once I make a good broth I just toss in whatever meat and veggies I have laying around the kitchen that are about to expire soon. I highly recommend making/storing your own broth. If you eat a lot of chicken this is easy to do,…
