  • I've lost between 33-36 pounds (we'll see at the official weigh in next Monday exactly where) in 13 months so far. I actually hit the same weight I'm at now last October, after around 5 months of losing, then held it for a long while before gaining a few back. I'd like to slowly finish off these last 10-odd pounds at a…
  • July 1: 117 July 8: 115.5 July 15: 114.5 July 22: 113 July 29: (goal 112.5) End weight!: (goal 112) Whoo, a wonderful week! I'm dumbfounded how I lost a pound and a half, there was a little more ice cream and fries than I had anticipated. I was careful to eat all my treats in moderation though and stick close to my calorie…
  • July 1: 117 July 8: 115.5 July 15: 114.5 July 22: (goal 113.5) July 29: (goal 112.5) End weight!: (goal 112) Well, no complaints this week, right on target. I ate right around what I hoped all days but 1. And honestly, chowing down 12 different funky ice cream flavors (salted egg yolk - chocolate, cranberry and pop…
  • I'm 5'1'' and regularly eat less than 1200 to great effect. On the weekends I balance it out by eating around 1800 calories each day. I lose approx 1 pound every week with no stalls, no light headedness or other problems and fantastic results, so I'm not currently looking to increase or decrease at the moment, though when…
  • Hey all! I just found this group and would love to join, even though I'm super late! On August 1 I'll be seeing my family for the first time in over a year as I've been living overseas and I want to look good! I'm getting close to my goal now so I'm not sure 7 lbs is totally doable, but I'll put in the effort and hopefully…
  • A pair of skinny jeans I don't see my sides hanging over! A super hot form fitting dress would be number two
  • Alright! Made it through another day binge free! Closer to that goal of 31 days in July  Binge freeeee~: 3 (lunchtime now and just dinner tonight will make it 4!) Monster attack: 0!
  • Oooh, I'd like to join in too! I'll be flying home to see my family for the first time in a year and a half on the 1st of August and I'm determined to keep binges at a minimum until then! Luckily I got my last binge in on the last day of June, so for now: Binge freeeee~: 2 (3 if dinner goes well tonight!) Monster attack: 0!
  • I have a weekly schedule for my meals- I eat the same meals every Monday, every Tuesday, etc, with the exception being Friday and Saturday nights, when I allow myself to have a higher calorie "yummy" meal I've been wanting. Since I'm usually below my calories during the week, the boost at the end of the week ends up…
  • I'm 5'1'' and currently weighing something around 116-117, hitting these last 10 pounds now! Looks like there are a lot of people in the same boat :)
  • Oh yes, I've been getting some canned tuna as well! I'm actually not a big fish eater and can't stomach it, but for some reason canned tuna is no problem to get down. I did buy a bag of oatmeal about a week ago as well and have some sugar packets to stir in, but something just isn't doing it for me and I've had to force…
  • Thank you for the ideas :flowerforyou: It's not the easiest situation but it's definitely doable, and in just under 5 months I should have a full kitchen at my disposal once again! My biggest issue right now is getting in veggies without blowing more than I can spend right now. I've been giving high priority to getting…
  • My goal weight is fairly important to me, but not just for the number value. I'm 5'1'' and my 102 lb goal is much lower than some other women who look and feel fantastic 10, 20, 30 pounds higher, but for my tiny frame it's perfect, and that I know from past experience. I use my previous weight from when I looked and felt…
  • Last time I was watching what I ate, I was weighing in every day (and sometimes nights!) and pretty much just updating my weight whenever I wanted, not on any schedule. Now that I’m back I’ve resolved to update every Monday (hopefully will keep me accountable on weekends, my problem area!) but to check in every morning…
  • I'm so sorry for your loss, my condolences. Both my parents are (thankfully) still alive, though I'm getting increasingly worried the same thing will happen to my dad very soon. He was diagnosed with MS, is obese and smokes nonstop. The doctors have told him he can’t expect another five years unless he changes his…
  • I know this post isn't calling out anyone in particular, but remember, this doesn't necessarily apply to everyone. I'm VERY short and have a small bone structure. Following even this advice (maintenance cals - even only 10%) takes me right around that magic 1200, by the time I'm near my goal the minimal 10% is under 1200,…
  • I know for many people the slow and steady route to healthy eating has been key, changing out foods here and there for better options until it becomes second nature, but I'll share what works best for me too, since I had the same problem for years as I watched my weight slowly increasing as every week I would have a new…
  • I really like this idea! Back in my own high school days my aunt went on a fitness kick, and although I was slim enough at the time she asked me if I would accompany her on her jogs so she had a partner and wouldn’t be so nervous going through the park alone. She would ask me to try out her new healthy recipes as her…
  • Alright, my first post back in about 5 months, I fell off the bandwagon! 1. how tall are you? 5'1 2. how old are you? 24 3. how much do you weigh? 120, down from a high of 146 and up from a low of 111 4. how many gross calories do you eat? About 1300 5. how many net calories do you eat? ...about the same. I haven't been…
  • I've been just horrible keeping track of things the last week. I've been routinely above my calories, and not on good foods either. But this morning when I stepped on the scale I realized something... I may have finally learned how to manage my weight. My weight has bounced around up 10 pounds, down 5, up 15, etc every…
  • My BMI is just under the middle point right now and my goal is toward the lower end, but not dramatically on the line. It's pretty accepted by now that the BMI measurements aren't accurately representative of one's fitness, but it is fun calculating and seeing that number go down :drinker:
  • I have no idea how I'm half a pound down this morning from last week, to be honest. I've eaten right at maintenance calories the entire week (and over twice this week) and both yesterday and the day before I was 112.2, but no matter how many times I weigh in different spots or positions this morning the scale is showing…
  • Hahaha, agree with this! Yes, I do look pretty good, thank you. But I'm still trying to lose a bit more so if you could kindly NOT try and shove cookies down my throat it would be much appreciated! Trust me, I promise you I will look even better when I'm a few more pounds down (but that chocolate does look pretty…
  • ^^^^ agree with this. I haven't had any comments about being too skinny and don't expect I will since everyone around me here in Asia is about toothpick thin, but my mom used to be very overweight, at about 180 for her 5'1'' tiny frame. She dropped a ton of weight dieting and hit about 110 and about a size 4. Completely…
  • I started probably in a 10 petite (not totally sure, all I know is the size 8's weren't fitting any longer, maybe a bit bigger than a 10), I'm now comfortable in a 6 but on the way out of it, and would like to make it to a size 2 or 4 ultimately. I'm close to my goal of a size 4 now but still not terribly happy with a few…
  • I've gone through a very similar process myself. Although my starting weight wasn't as high, when I began I neither ate nor wanted to eat my extra exercise calories, I was losing well and had no problems. As I've gone down more and more I've found myself really wanting and needing those extra calories, feeling more tired…
  • I'm the same as the other posters- about a week before my weight either holds steady (if I've really been pushing myself) or increases a pound or two, then drops back over a few days. It's super annoying to not have a clear idea of any progress around then :grumble:
  • I've lost a grand ol' .2 pounds this week, although I can't say I'm surprised. I've definitely not been as strict as I could have been, so I suppose I'll just count myself lucky that I didn't gain anything for now and try to pick it up for next week. I've been feeling a bit down and having some emotional/self-esteem…
  • I just calculated and it looks like my goal weight puts me at a BMI of between 19.3-19.8, which I think is good for me based on my past weight. If worse comes to worse and I still have little lovehandles I wouldn't mind toning up and losing another pound or two in the process, but I don't think that will be necessary and I…
  • Definitely dinner. I also eat about 60% of my day's calories in that meal, about 20% each for breakfast and lunch. I don't usually feel hungry in the day but I can't sleep on an empty stomach, it seems to work well like this
