I eat 5-6 times per day, about every 2-3 hours. So if I feel hungry in the evening and I haven't eaten the calories I need to eat, I will choose a very healthy snack - usually yogurt and fruit, veggies with 1 tbsp of peanut butter - sometimes a protein shake. I ALWAYS include some kind of protein in my frequent meals

It's not a problem for me. I get up early every day of the week and usually my workouts are done by 8am. Mass for me isn't until 10:30am. I usually just have a protein shake after my workout. After church, our family usually goes out for a late breakfast (more like lunch time).

I think when someone says they are proud of you, they are complimenting you. Be graceful, accept it as a compliment and stop overthinking something that was said in the spirit of being positive.
