Working out 3-4x a week, not daily....
I've always heard that it's better to work out about every other day, not daily. Even my doctor has said that the body needs to rest between workouts. I need to loose between 45-50lbs. MFP says to eat 1200 calories a day (plus eating back my exercise calories) and for the most part I stick to that. Often times about 100 less. How do you know what the calorie burn is?
Example: elliptical at my gym says in 12minutes (don't laugh!) I burned 50 calories. If I look on MFP or on the "self" website's calorie calculator, it shows between 130-180. Big variation. Same variations with the stationary bike. So does anyone have a good website that has a reliable calculation? THANK YOU!!
