What's the one Southern food you had to give up?
The list is endless....but I had to give up Biscuits and Gravy. I use to make them at least 2 times a week. Once on the week-end for breakfast...and then 1 night a week for "breakfast for dinner". Now I treat myself 2 or 3 times a year...usually a holiday.

Calorie limit in MFP
So it seems to me that MFP sets everyone's ideal calorie limit at 1200, which is not realistic for the most part. First of all your calorie needs are based on your weight and your activity level. My suggestion to everyone who joins this site is to either google a search for my calorie needs or go the Shape magazines…

So I have a really bad sweet tooth, and notice that if I totally deny myself, then I tend to have days where I binge on calories. Improved my 1/2 marathon time by 7 minutes
I ran a 1/2 marathon in March and my time was 1:54:30. I was not happy about that time. I have never been a big fan of speed work, but after joining a gym to add weights into my workout routine, I decided to give speed work on the treadmill a try. I ran the Country Music 1/2 yesterday and finished in 1:47:12. I couldn't…
