For women who are in menopause
Almost 2 yrs ago, I had a total hysterectomy at 47 years old. Of course, immediate surgical menopause. Was put on daily Premarin. I was already overweight. How do you change meal descriptions in diary?
I noticed one person's diary had times listed instead of breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack. She had something like 9 AM to noon,, noon to 3PM and so on. How do you do that? I need mine to say something other than breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack.

Exercise DVD for someone who is VERY overweight..
Can anyone recommend a DVD that will not be too intense for a person who is 125# overweight? I hear everyone talking about that 30 day shcred, but the reviews I have read make it sound like it would not work for a beginner. Any suggestions?

If the "starvation mode" thing is true, why don't gastric bypass patients go into starvation mode?

Does spaghetti squash taste like pasta?
Do you actually put spaghetti sauce on it? I want to try this, but I hate to spend the time and $ on something and not like it. I just wanted to ask those of you who have actually tried it--Did you really feel like you were eating pasta? Thanks! :smile:

Does this count as "dairy"?
I use 2% Kraft cheese slices. On the package is says "processed cheese food". Is it really cheese? Can I count it as a dairy serving? :ohwell:

about salad dressings....
What do you use? I have been using Kraft Fat Free Italian or Kraft Fat Free Catalina. Both have too much sodium and the Catalina has too much sugar. Ugh. What do you use???

calories in canned fruit........
Are the calories listed on the can JUST for the fruit or is it for the fruit WITH the liquid? :smile:

IMO, smooth peanut butter is just a waste of calories.
My hubby bought smooth pb. I usually eat crunchy. So I had some today and wondered "Why on Earth would anybody choose this slop over crunchy peanutty yumminess? :laugh: Just sayin.........

alternative oils..........
What kind of oil do you use? I have always just used vegetable oil or more recently olive oil. I am seeing lots of posts about coconut oil. Do you use it? Why? Does it have a taste? I read one post that said the person gagged at the taste of coconut oil. Thoughts? Are there other alternative types of oils?

I have been reading about quinoa. I LOVE white rice and have been thinking about quinoa as an alternative since it is so high in protein. Is quinoa considered a "whole grain"? Spaghetti squash---uhhh, no.
I fixed spaghetti squash and put pasta sauce over it. Soooo not working for me. :sick: Now I have this ton of the squash left. Any ideas what I can make with it other than just putting pasta sauce over it? I hate to waste it.

I like to eat oatmeal but it doesnt have enough protein IMO. I have seen that people add protein powder. If you use it, what kind do you suggest? Does it taste like anything or does it add protein without changing the taste of the food?? Where do you buy it? Thanks!

Where can I go to have someone actually FIT me for a bra? I am so tired of trying out bras and then buying them only to have them ride up in the back. 5 ingredients or less..............
Anybody have a recipe that only calls for a few ingredients....say 5 or less? I get easily intimidated by recipes that call for a bunch of "stuff". Love the easy stuff..........I'll share one I tried last night........easy and yummy: Chicken breast olive oil Mrs. Dash onions soy sauce All you do is cut the chicken breasts…
