Low Carb Stuffed Cabbage Rolls
1 head cabbage
1 lb ground turkey
1/2 onion
1 tbs minced garlic
2 cup Tomato sauce no sugar added
1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
Your fav seasonings
* If you want the taste of rice you can add grated cauliflower to it. There are many recipes on how to make cauliflower rice. Very yummy
Preheat oven to 350° Core head of cabbage with the tip of a very sharp knife.
Place in pot of boiling water (enough to completely cover).
As the leaves begin to soften, pull them off and return head to the water.
Cut the large thick vein off the back of each leaf in a deep V pattern.
Meanwhile brown your meat with seasonings and add in the 1 cup tomato sauce, garlic, and onion. And simmer, then add cheese. Place just enough meat mixture on the cabbage leaves so that you can roll up. Work from the thickest side towards you, fold over the meat, then fold the sides in and finish rolling away from you. Place some sauce in the bottom of the pan. Then place rolls in glass baking dish, seam side down. Cover with foil and bake for 45 min to an hour.
