hey everyone,
My name is Nick. New here! I'm a 22 year old male. Over the last year I've gained about 17 pounds, going from 165 to about 182 now. I'm about 5'10". In that span my waist has gone from about 33 inches to about 41. I was definitely healthy before I gained the weight but now I'm starting to question it. I've got quite a little beer belly now lol anyway, I'm okay with my weight gain, just wondering if I'm still at a healthy weight. Anyone suggestions?
Thanks
-Nick

Well, if you're going to go by BMI for healthy weight then no, you're overweight (healthy for you would be 129 - 173). For waist measurement, greater than 40 inches is considered unhealthy.

There are various ways of working out how healthy you are, I mean I'm just Googling them and plugging your stats in!

I personally hate the BMI chart, but that's probably your best bet to go off and as DemoraFairy said, you are considered overweight from the BMI chart. Set MFP to lose .5 pounds a week and see how you do.

    Best of luck.
