Cronometer?

I find it interesting that on cronometer, it is not simply calories in and calories out. A look at the nutritional quality of the calories appears to be relevant. It gives predictions to what your overall weight loss would look like long term, based on the foods you're eating, not the amount of calories. Do any of you also use cronometer.com in addition to this website? What are your thoughts on it?

I love it, but I only use it off and on as I can get too obsessive about stuff. I think it's easier to log there if you eat mostly whole foods, as it doesn't have as much nonsense in the database so the USDA and similar options come right up and are obvious, I like the recipe tool, and I love how it makes the nutrients so easy to see (instead of making it hard to see anything but your select few). I also like how you can set a range for macros.

I logged my food there a few years ago when I started eating low carb just to make sure my diet wasn't lacking anything. I love that all of the vitamin and mineral information is available and displayed on the one screen. Very handy. But I can't be bothered to log my food twice and I prefer MFP's segmented diary so I log here.

Although I have to say if I was new and didn't already have a ton of the USDA food entries in my recent tab I would have stuck with Cronometer. The new verified food system makes the MFP database unusable, IMO.

Yep, I feel the same way.
