Drink lots of water with your meals, lots of fibre. A laxative may help in your current situation.

Sometimes it helps me "go " if I drink a lot of coffee with cream. Keep drinking your water too !
Try to up your fiber if needed. If that doesn't work then maybe try miralax. Its gentle and won't cause explosive diarrhea or cramping. I hate those stimulant laxatives because of the massive stomach pains it gives me. So I use miralax when I'm having a hard time going.

Prunes. Especially the jarred baby food. Miracle!

If this is an ongoing issue, it might be worth talking to your doctor at your next visit.
Some medications cause constipation and sometimes there is other stuff going on.
I'd incorporate prunes ( I forgot about prunes until mentioned above !) In your daily diet to see if that might help for now.

How about fats in your diet? Are you going fat-free everything? Make sure you're getting enough good fats in your diet - just as important as water and fiber.

Lots water, prunes, fruit in general and fibre. Bran cereal, figs are good too
Sounds like you could do with seeing your doctor

Enough fat, fibre, water and exercise are the first things to try.
    Magnesium citrate can help.
