Hit that dreaded plateau...

Hey all, I've lost 16kgs since January so great but the last two weeks have been tough, no movement on the scale, same diet and workouts and calorie deficit, any ideas to kick my metabolism in the butt? ;)

You might want to update your calories. If you'd been losing and you weigh less, you need an accurate calorie count.

After taking the above into consideration you might also want to switch things have a little bit, change your macros, up the intensity in the gym, or maybe just do more cardio. If you havnt had a deload week in a while do so, and you can also eat at maintenance for a few days.

Two weeks is not a plateau. Don't change anything. Practice patience.

Plateaus don't exist. You're either eating at maintenance and need to tighten up your logging and/or reduce calories, or you are retaining water (as always, but when weight loss slows down, it will be more easily masked by those fluctuations) and need to be patient/weigh yourself more often.

Two weeks.... not a plateau! weight loss takes time and yes while the odd stall can happen its usually followed by a loss (if you've been eating at deficit of course).
