Stamina 55-1610 InMotion E1000 Elliptical Trainer and the like

Has anyone used and/or have experience with compact elliptical trainers such as the "Stamina 55-1610 InMotion E1000 Elliptical Trainer "?
I really don't have the space, nor the head room, in my basement for a full size trainer and was wondering if these are worthwhile. The stride length seems short and, therefore, questionable. At least as I see it now. Any thoughts?
