Because we haven't had a keto vs non-keto discussion for at least an hour....

For those interested in this subject, a study was published last year (July) which took an intensive look at the metabolic effects of a ketogenic vs non-ketogenic diet.

Short Summary: there was no difference in fat loss when calories and protein intake remained the same.

This was a very detailed and meticulous investigation of the subject--one of the more detailed and controlled studies done on the subject. But not the easiest thing for the average person to work through.

I found what I thought was a nice article that provided a detailed, but readable and succinct discussion of the study.
