Can I get an honest Bodyfat estimate?

Options
I'm just looking to see what my bodyfat might be in the ball part of, in the picture I am 214lbs, my guess is that I'm 15 or 16% does that seem right?

I would say 18%. You have great muscle development which distorts things a bit for many people.

Thanks, yeah I think it does sort of make it a hard guess, also I wear my weight in kind of a weird way which makes it even harder to guess for me.

    I'd guess around 16-18%.

Obviously no one here can give an accurate answer but at a guess I would say somewhere between 15-20% depending on your fat distribution.

I'd agree w/this guess. Definitely not under 15.

Just get an assessment done. Alot of exercise science departments at universities have either a bod pod or hydrostatic weighing tank which will give you a pretty accurate percentage. It's generally pretty affordable too. I paid 40$ for bod pod and 35 for the hydrostatic. Or even cheaper and more readily available option is to have an experienced trainer use calipers on you

I'm getting a scan done in September, it'll measure bone density as well as my lean body mass. I've never been particularly lean, and was basically just looking for an estimate to see where I look like I am 10 pounds lighter.

    My husband's also 6'3...based on his build (height/bf measurement) I'd guess 17ish.

Not less than 15, not more than 23. I'm going with 19. Tough call though, your waist is getting thinnish (you're not sucking in are you  ? )so you might be 16-17 too.

Kind of cool, weighed in at 211 this morning and I can see my upper absence, been a long time since I've been this lean.
