I want to make a batch of low carb chocolate chip cookies for a friend of mine. I have never baked anything low carb and don’t know where to start.

I have searched around the net a little, but I would like to bring them a tried and true delicious batch of cookies. So, if any of you who do bake low carb and have a stellar recipe, would you mind sharing?

    The chocolate chip cookie recipe on the back of the Bob's Red Mill almond meal bag is very good. I google to find the recipe as needed.

    There are a lot of recipes on the net. Most of them start with almond flour.

    Be warned, the substitute will never be the same as the original.

    If I were to do a low carb cookie I’d make a Meringue or a shortbread.
