Hi I'm new to this so I'm seeking dietary advice on shifting belly, chest and back fat as that's where I'm holding heavily.

Well, you can’t really shift it and where would you put it if you could? Lol

Fat loss is achieved through diet and muscles are gained with lifting.

You can eat any foods you enjoy and that fill you up. You just need to find a calorie range that puts you in a deficit. Then get adequate protein and lift. Rinse and repeat until happy.

I'm currently trying a high protein calorie deficit diet. But I'm getting bored of the meals I'm making. I'm wanting ideas on meals to make that I won't get bored of.

Spice varieties should be helpful for preventing nightmares/becoming sick of eating bland, unseasoned chicken breasts all day. Mrs. Dash (sodium free) is a bodybuilder staple (Ronnie Coleman)

I lost my weight only eating foods I enjoy.
Why make a calorie deficit even harder by depriving yourself of tasty food?
Are you going for a very high deficit/fast rate of loss? (That could be very counter productive.)

    Do you cook?
What style or type of cuisine do you enjoy?

Personally I find high taste, visually appealing, high quality, highly varied food far more satiating than bland food.

Running a deficit is annoying enough without punishing yourself eating stale cardboard.

The trick is to get fresh, organic cardboard. Throw a little cumin on it and roast it, tastes great!
