List more nutrients for tracking

It would be great if you could add to the nutrients list and make it a more complete vitamin, amino acid, and mineral panel.

Our team is definitely considering adding native support for tracking additional vitamins (such as Vitamins D and K), as well as supplements, or medications. In the meantime, many users use the Notes area to record these additional items.

As an alternative, you can create a new Meal category called "Vitamins and Supplements". You can then create a custom food entry in the food database to represent your vitamin or supplement, and log this item to your diary when you consume it.

Hopefully this can help for now!

Are those details actually available on the 'Nutrition information' of most foods? You can't record or track information that isn't there.

Nope. And it's not likely people will go off and do deep-dive nutritional research for every entry they make when so many entries can't even manage filling out what's already on the label.

For those few people who truly care, it would let them more fully enter their own foods, though, if they want to make the effort.
