Is it ok to drink protein shakes while creating a calorie deficit.Will it affect my weight loss.

If you're still in a calorie deficit while drinking them, then yes0

It does not matter what you eat/drink as long as you are in a deficit you will lose weight. If you are in a surplus you will gain. There is nothing magical about a protein powder.1

I guess the better question would be what are your goals? If you want to lose weight protein will make you feel fuller longer. How much protein are you consuming currently?0

Those are terrible stats for a protein shake if its protein and low calories you are after
this is what I use (reflex instant whey pro)
25 Gram serving
Energy: 412 kJ / 97 kcal
Fat: 1.1
of which Saturates: 0.4 g
of which Mono-unsaturates: 0.3 g
of which Polyunsaturates: 0.4 g
Carbohydrates: 1.6 of which Sugars: 1.0 g
Fibre: 0.4 g
Protein: 20 g
Salt: 0.11 g

and it doesn't taste bad as well.. than again I have used this for about 7 years so its harder for me to compare... the only other ones I have tried are optimum nutrition casein and maxi nutrition which tastes good but has a very poor price per serving2
