Hi, so I just weighed myself and I'm 207 pounds and I was like 202 last Saturday, I haven't been dieting "I'm on vacation" but I think that there was only 1 or 2 days that I've eaten over 3,000 calories and I've been tracking my food, the other days I haven't even eaten over 2,000 calories maybe 1 other day was 2,500, is this all water weight? I'm freaking out. How do I get rid of water weight, more potassium? Drink a bunch of water?

Base your decisions based on your weight trend over time, NOT your day to day weight fluctuations which is all that your scale shows you EVEN if you weigh yourself once a week.

Connect fitbit.com to trendweight.com to automatically pass your weight information to the web site. Or www.weightgrapher.com for manual entry. Libra for android. Happy scale for iphone.

Patience, and take a look back at your past month or 2 of weight history and I'll bet you'll find a bunch of spikes and drops in weight.

You haven't gained five pounds of fat, so don't stress! You can sometimes reduce water weight by drinking water and cutting back on sodium, but the thing to remember is that It Will Come Back - it always comes back. Your weight is always going to vary by a few pounds and there's nothing you can do to stop it, so rather than focusing on getting rid of water weight, maybe just focus on getting back to normal, good habits. Get back into a deficit, and you'll start trending down again.
