Here to lose weight and feel better about myself. Maybe gain some muscle along the way. Looking for friends to spread the motivation with!

    Welcome aboard.

    Losing weight & gaining muscle aren't likely to happen at the same time, because they require very different
    nutrition & exercise. You can _maintain_ the muscle you currently have while losing weight, then once you're at
    a healthy weight switch to eating at a slight caloric surplus (with lots of protein) & increase your weightlifting to
    increase muscle.
