Blender & Super Shake suggestions?

I seem to always be short on protein at the end of the day and never eat breakfast at home (generally yogurt when I get to work). So, I've decided to start on the Green Monster/Protein Shake for breakfast plan and just take that protein filled yogurt as a snack later in the day.

I'm relatively new to protein shaking, so I wanted some suggestions on the following:

1. Good quality, but not horribly expensive blender? (my old blender died in a tragic moving accident)

2. Gluten Free all purpose Protein Powder (I have Celiac's Disease, so I need GF. And at present, i don't want an array of variously flavored protein powders, so I'd love one that can work in multiple shakes)

3. Any other advice you may give on best fillers to use, etc.

4. Any great recipes? =)
