Friends & Learning new ways to exercise!

Hey,
Kinda new to mfp, so I'm lookin for friends and I'm definitely interested in learning new fitness routines. I'm 38, trying to drop about 10-15 lbs but mainly I wanna get lean & STRONG. Right now I run 3x a week and lift 3x a week. Any advice on what to do to burn more calories? Get a better workout while lifting?
