Today I wanted something that's filling, tastes good and has little carbs and cals. So I put two packs of gluten free quinoa & oats (200 cal) into a bowl and made it like normal. It was horrible, so I put a lot of jalapenos in it (the heat of peppers increases your metabolism speed), a sprinkle of cheddar cheese and 3 strips of Turkey bacon which has 0 carbs and only 25 cals a piece. It's amazing and under 350 calories..but I'm always looking to spice things up..

What do you do with your quinoa & oats? If you eat them plain, I truly respect you.

I buy the maple syrup flavored ones from Trader Joe's... they're yummy! (sometimes I add fruit) :)

cooked quinoa mixed with scrambled eggs is quite good.
    Also...savory oatmeal.
cook with broth and add roast beef with pepper.
    Sounds odd, but is amazing.

That sounds great, not odd at all. I cook my rice with broth it gives it a good flavor

Nice, I will definitely try those next time I'm near a Trader Joes.

I use apple juice instead of plain water... A little spice, and whatever fruit I have on hand and I'm good to go. Peach and Ginger is probably my favorite.
