I'm at 152lbs., would be satisfied to be at 135lbs. Open to suggestions on what really works to drop the pounds. A good support group is very much needed & appreciated, thank you! I just ordered the updated South Beach Diet book and cook book, but when I open the book, I suddenly get impatient with it, and I am stressing on how to make it work for me.

Any 'how' you choose works if you consume fewer calories than needed to maintain the weight you presently have.
For instance, I'm convinced that the only way I can make this work long term for me is to eat things I like, so today I've had pizza, chocolate chip cookies, Fritos with bean dip, and Almond Joy. Sure, there was other stuff and most of my calories came from other stuff, but I need to enjoy some of the food I eat.
My tight pants are all the motivation I need. Since I like to eat, I make a point of exercising. That helps me get more calories to eat.1
