Getting to know you - Smart *kitten* Edition

I'm pulling this from the archives because I'm proud of the deluge of wit, but I'm sure you guys can one-up me. Go nuts with it. And I promise this will be the last 20-questions quiz I post - today, at least. :flowerforyou:
1. are you fun?
Only on Fridays
2. are you easily offended?
Not unless my mother is mentioned - then I get mad for having to think about her.
3. do you know how to paint?
I do. Now, whether it's pleasant to look at is another thing.
4. did you watch the A-Team growing up?
Ug. I probably would have if two of the boys I went to daycare with hadn't been such huge, spitting fans. They wore torn tank tops, were very loud and smelled very bad. The smell of fruit or syrup on a kid makes me curl into a ball to this day.
5. do you like Cheerios?
*drool* The honey nut ones are best.
6. tea or coffee?
Tea - I want the British stained-teeth look.
7. what's one of your short-term goals?
Balancing spinning plates on my teeth while rubbing my belly and tapping my head, all while belching the alphabet.
8. what is your favorite color?
Hmmm. Depends on my mood. I love violet blue when it's in the sky, and in theory, but don't really like it elsewhere. So I'll go with green. Or yellow. No, wait... Blue. Yeah. Blue. And purple too.
9. what is the weight ratio of an African swallow carrying a coconut?
Is the coconut full or hollowed out? At what velocity is said swallow traveling, and at what altitude? Does the swallow have a brother? Tell me those, and I'll give you your answer.
10. Beatles or Stones?
Beatles all the way, baybee.
11. favorite recipe?
My mashed potatoes. They are to DIE for. And your intestines will agree after a good-sized helping.
12. ski or snowboard?
I love skiing, so I'll have to say that since I've never snowboarded. But I'd love to try it some day.
13. what was the first thing you ever wrote?
That I can remember, when I was 7 I wrote a dorky story about a dog named Prince who travels cross-country to find his boy, Jody. Jody had to move with his family and was forced to give up Prince. I was really into The Incredible Journey and The Yearling back then. *ahem*
14. do you think the television has become the unfortunate focal point of the American living room?
YES. Uggg. Someone PLEASE pull my boyfriend's @ss out of the chair. I despise TV, videogames, and anything else he does on there.
15. why do some people grocery shop in their pajamas?
Duh. Because they're comfortable and they don't CARE what Bobbi Joe is going to say about them this Tuesday in the beauty shop. Hmph.
16. can you say "sixteen" in French?
Can you say "self-righteous" in Spanish?
17. favorite flower?
Tie between roses and carnations - I know, absolutely contradictory. And that's just because I'm sheltered from all the beautiful flowers that are out there. Love flowers.
18. do you prefer urban living or country spaces?
Country spaces for sure. Too many people make me twitch.
19. cats or dogs?
Yes and yes. I'm more involved with dogs though. Oh, and don't forget horses.

You'd have to ask my monkey assistant - I let him choose.
