Tried JM 30 Day Shred today but it kicked my *kitten*

Now I am off to do something else for a little while to make sure I get my calorie burn in today. I thought I can push through anything for 20 minutes. Boy was I wrong. I had to rest and get a drink every few moves. I am not going to give up though. I am going to keep at it until I can do the whole thing without stopping. I will count that as my first day.
However, I don't know how to code it in MFP. I don't have a heart rate monitor. On my equipment I use the calorie burn the machine gives me. How would I code the 30 day shred workout?
Thanks for the support.

I log mine for 25 mins under circuit training. She is tough but dont stop. Just keep pushing thru You def get results with her. It took me a few days to get the workout down with out stopping or breaking for a sip. So you are not the only one hahaha I just started level 3 and shes kicking my butt too!!!0

I just did it for the first time too! It was intense! I made it through but I was huffing and puffing boy! MyHRM said I burned 315 calories in 20 minutes!
I am not giving up either! I am going to add this to my daily workout.. even if I have to get up earlier to do it before I go to the gym!
Awesome! Being challenged is such a high! We can do this! We got this!0 -
Hi! I am currently on Day 11 (just started Level 2 today), and also don't have a HRM. I log it as "Circuit Training, General" and input 25 mins and 200 calories burned. This topic has been discussed at length here, and the general concensus is approx 200 (give or take) seems to be the average burn by people who have HRM's and have done the Shred.
Don't worry, it gets easier! I thought I'd die on the first day, and by day 3 or 4 it was easier. By the end of Level 1, I was (almost) a pro. Now, today I started Level 2, and thought I'd die again. I'm hoping it gets easier for me again after a few days. Stick with it. It's worth it!

I got it in the mail yesterday and I am starting it here in a bit when my dad leaves for work. I have issues about working out when my dad is home. I can only do it when only my son an I are home.0

I did it once and I was hurting for DAYS!!! I haven't done it since (oops) but I really need to push myself to do it. I'm glad I'm not the only person who had to stop every few minutes for water!0

I'm considering buying this but is it only meant to be effective if you do it every single day for 30 days or can you take breaks as long as you do the 30 workouts???
I work 14 hours shifts (at a hospital which is an hour from my home) so definitely can't manage to do it for 30 days in a row0 -
I won't be able to do it everyday either, but I am sure it will still be effective. I am going to start with a few days a week. I can tell you that I didn't even do it all today and my legs are jello. I can't imagine being able to do it everyday at the start. $9 for the dvd I think it will be a good fitness investment.0

I ordered it. I'll probably manage 3 times a week. What weights do I need?0

You don't need very heavy weights. I would say 3, 5, or 8 depending on your fitness level. You can start with just soup cans... Or water bottles.0
