Before this is misconstrued, I wouldn't date a man. But I will say that, when worn like long johns under clothes, I don't see a problem with them.
Uniqlo puts out a good pair of Heattech long johns that I'll sometimes wear under a suit in the cold. Luckily it's been a mild winter.

My (now) ex wore my tights under his jeans when he went fishing the one time AND he bought some thick winter tights when he was working as a roofer as they were cheaper than long johns...never had a problem with those occasions but I think I'd draw the line at fashion tights0
