Muscles DO have memory

I do not write posts or blogs because I really do not have the time but because I am at the end of my weight loss journey, I thought a couple of pictures are always good motivation for others. I used to be heavily into body building and then fitness back many many many years ago and then I moved to a new State, my life completely changed and for some reason it did not seem to matter how I looked. Don't get me wrong, my move was totally intentional and I have a great life. I also quit smoking almost 2 years ago and more weight came on. All would have been fine if my son, last spring, had not announced his engagement to be married in Oct 2012. I jumped on the scale, I almost had a heart attack 198lbs, never in my entire life of ups and downs had I ever been so fat except while pregnant with my daughter 26 years ago. I went into deep depression for a short period of time and suicide did cross my mind but I did snap out of it after talking to a friend who had been on MFP for months and had lost 50lbs. I knew I could do this, after all I had done it before, many times, but of course, now at age 58 I knew it would not be as easy. Well I did it, it has been an 11 months journey and I am damn proud of my accomplishment. As for the title the first picture is worth a 1000 words. It was me in my glory in 1993 when I thought muscles were sexy, the next pictures are me now and the muscles are back, not that I am purposely building them up, they are just there, lol...Age though has taken its toll and the skin has lost its elasticity but weight training has helped and even though I have lost 70lbs I am very fortunate that i actually could wear a bikini.
Still trying to figure this out but I will get it, lol.....
OK, there they are, maybe, maybe not. I just can't seem to make this work
