I have been walking on and off for a while. I need something that burns more calories. What is a good cardio exercise for beginners. I can't walk right now because it is too hot out.
Thanks in advance!

It is hot, but what about going for your walks early before it is too hot?
You could also do Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred. It is definitely something a beginner could do. It is hard, but doable.
A recumbent/stationary bike would also be another good option.0 -
Swimming, even leisurely is fantastic.
Stationary bikes and treadmills for the rainy days.
Dancing at home works too.
Anything to get you moving really is great beginner activities.0 -
Swimming - burns more calories than walking, is easy on the joints, and is often most enjoyable when it's hot out.0

I love inline skating during the summer.
Why not try out some different activities? I'm sure you'll find some things that you like and want to keep doing. Have fun!:happy:0 -
eating 200 less calories in a day0

Why not try shadowboxing? I have the p90x (not that i use it right now lol) and they have something called Kenpo X and its all shadowboxing and things. Great workout for lovehandles for sure.
Dancing, jogging in place, if you have stairs you could run/walk up and down them
