I have a bottle of multivitamins from 2010...maybe older. Are they still useful to take?

They should have an expiration date. Actually this week I realized all the bottles I had that I'd been taking we're expired and I picked up some new ones.0

I just checked my vitamins. They have an expiration day (Jan 14), but no year ... hurmmm....
I've read that many medications are still good and useable a couple of years after their expiration date. But I'm thinking vitamins will spoil eventually. They're probably safe, but may not be very effective. I'd say toss them since you don't really know how old they are.0 -
Jan 14 is January 2014... mine are the same theyre still good!0

Yeah, I figured that out when I looked at the bottle again this morning. It was a real headslapping moment. I would have edited that part out but it wouldn't let me. :laugh:0
