My success story isn't neccessarily the same as most. I've always been a pretty small guy and wanted to put on weight to get stronger for my sport (powerlifting).

This is from last spring: (march 2011) 155 pounds

This week:
182 pounds

Really happy with my progress so far. Might not be ideal to some, but I set a goal and I achieved it.

great bulk, might want to cut some, looks like you're upper teens to me. Try to cap bf levels @ 15% when you bulk.

May I ask what your calorie and protein intake were on average?

powerlifter. so i'll probably cut around 190 pounds. I let my levels get a little higher because I'm not really worried about aesthetics, i like the strength gains.
But i compete at 165 or 181 so I do have to reduce weight a bit soon.

Fall of 2011: I'm not sure about protein but probably over 200 grams per day. around 3500 to 4000 cals per day most likely. I don't track when bulking.
I went from 160ish to nearly 180 by january.
    Feb 16th I started cutting to 165.
Weighed in at 160 on April 14th for my powerlifting meet. Cut too far.

So since April I've been eating for recovery. I don't track what I eat, if I workout hard, I eat a lot to ensure that I'm ready for my next workout.

Even when cutting I don't typically track cals. Just kind of know what I need to gain/lose.
