I HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATE EXERCISING! I hate hate hate it!! Honestly, I have got to be the absolute LAZIEST person I know! I don't think I can properly express how much I despise going to the gym. Right now I'm losing weight pretty well, just because I'm limiting my calories and being pretty diligent about eating well. But I'm starting to wonder how long that will work for me, if I can ever push past that future plateau without some real sweat.

I like physical exertion, as long as I'm having too much fun to realize I'm working out. And I can never do it on my own, it has to be in a group setting. Like rock climbing, hiking, roller skating, dancing, snowboarding, etc. I would do those things every day, except I don't have money for a rock gym, dance classes, or lift tickets (when in season) and it's too hot (I live in Phoenix) to ever go outside until it's dark, which takes hiking and roller skating out of the equation until like September.

What are some cheap (free is better) activities that I can do?

  • try looking for classes to take like yoga, zumba, or dancing classes. They are usually free and can be found at a ymca or something like that. Zumba.com will tell you if there are any classes near you as well.
