    I am six years sober and work a great program however I am noticing my "ism's" coming out...like food, exercise. I didn't know if you ever experienced this. As an alcoholic and addict I find myself substituting other things...not a drink or drug in hand, but donuts, chips and panda express here I come. Hope to hear from you.

    @Jwoodward, my dad used to smoke and when he quit smoking he started eating sun flower seeds. I believe this is similar to what your talking about. Every time he wanted a cig, he would pop a handful of those in his mouth instead. Eventually he didn't need the sunflowers any more. It's kinda like your body trading one addiction for another.
