Hi All!
I just wanted to share, as I've seen lots of other success stories and pics!
I was diagnosed as uncontrolled Type 2 Diabetic in September 2011. I weighed in at 205 lbs. I was ashamed of myself for letting myself go, and I also didn't want to spend the rest of my life with a diagnosis. I started walking...huffing it out 1 mile a night, and thought I might die.
I started getting stronger and pushed to 2 miles, then 3. Next thing I knew, I was participating in Virtual 5K's, courtesy of a GREAT support and accountability group I belong to on FB.
Then, I started Power 90. After a few false starts, I'm 2 weeks in to my 3rd go at it, along with 2 weeks in to my 2nd go at C25K. Hope you like the pics!

Sorry if they are huge pics...haven't figured out how to make them smaller yet...any suggestions?

Thank you! I have about 20 to 30 lbs left to go...I'm so glad the bulk of it is gone! I've slowed down my loss, and focusing more on toning and strengthening right now. If I don't reach goal, I know I'm at a healthier weight today than I was almost a year ago!

Congrats! Your hard work and dedication really has paid off! I'm guessing that you have reversed your type II diabetes with the increase in physical activity and weight loss?

Yes...A1C is down to 5.7 at last check. Still have to get the next set of labs done to see how things are going!
