Ab Storm

Let me first explain that I have horribly bad knees and am looking for a way to get rid of my muffin top and my love handles. Does anyone have any input on the Ab Storm? I just saw it and was wondering if it might actually work.

you could do a billion ab workouts, sit ups, crunches ect and its not going to help, you may build some ab muscles but the only way to get your muffin top gone and love handles eat a deficit and get active.....there is no magic way to get a flat stomach.....When they say abs are made in the kitchen they mean it, eat good and they will come

You can't spot reduce. You have to lose weight everywhere if you want to lose belly fat and often it's the last weight to come off.

They are right...all the sit ups in the world will not reduce the fat you may have in that area. Cardio is the best way to burn fat. If your knees are bad, water aerobics I've heard is fantastic. And can you go for walks? I know my knees can't handle running, but I'm fine walking.

I walk every day (or try to at least :( ) I was just hoping that since on the infomercial it says iy burns twice the calories as crunches that it may actually do me some good. How would I calculate calories burned since something like that isn't in the database?

It's a gimmick and won't help you accomplish your goal. The only place you'll notice any loss from it is in your wallet. Spot reducing is a myth. Eat at a caloric deficit, combined with some cardio and strength training (i.e. picking up heavy things and putting them back down) and the fat will start going away.

Abs are my goal too. It's about diet at first. Lowering your BF% is a must. I recently began intermittent fasting and am currently the closest I've been to reaching this often failed goal of mine.
