I was eating around 1,300 calories but have changed it to 1,700 calories. I exercise 5-6 days a week for an hr and burn around 600-700 calories.

Eating 1300 calories was indeed far too low given your BMR and your TDEE.
What you changed to is a better calorie goal. 1700.
Basically, at 1300 calories, it would be extremely difficult for you to get all your daily nutritional requirements unless you researched ALL of them (and there is a lot), determined the correct amount you needed, and met those amounts every day.0 -
so ur eating 1700 and burning 600-700 are you eating those back?0

Am I suppose to?0

If you set up MFP correctly, you should eat your exercise calories back.
Basically MFP works like this...
It calculates your TDEE based on sedimentary. From there, it subtracts calories per day to meet your weight loss goals (500 for 1lb a week, 750 for 1.5lb a week, 1000 for 2lb a week).
That is how may calories you get a day to lose weight without exercise. When you exercise, you'll make the deficit larger, and thus can eat the calories back to ensure the deficit number in the correct range. You should not create huge deficits due to several reasons I won't go into right now.0 -
Am I suppose to?
Depends - if you are using TDEE and then taking a defict, then no you don't need to eat them back as they are figured into your TDEE, provided you picked the right activity level.0 -
